OUR TRAVELS

Tajikistan - Khujand

Khujand is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, situated on the Silk Road route. The inhabitants are open and friendly, perhaps because much less tourists come here than to neighboring Uzbekistan. A local attraction is a mulberry tree that is said to be a thousand years old. However, what charmed me the most was the view of medieval monuments against the picturesque mountain ranges surrounding Khujand.
